Market Gap
There is a great need to tackle some of the most serious problems around the world, and the current level of funding, which is being raised through traditional funding sources such as grants and donations, is insufficient. One of the reasons for an inadequate supply of investable opportunities stems from a disconnect between investors and the types of investment opportunities that are aligned to investors’ profiles and investment criteria. We have a deep understanding of the unique needs of all kinds of changemakers and what works (and, just as importantly, what doesn’t) in the sector. By working across the spectrum of social impact, we are also privy to the latest developments and current opportunities. We take pride in bringing this valuable perspective and network to all of our client work. Once we understand your objectives, we work collaboratively with you to design your project and a fit-for-purpose plan for leveraging our unique resources to deliver your work. This may include enlisting one of our Impact Principals to lead all or part of your project, giving you the benefit of working with a consultant who is an expert in the relevant field. Our Impact Principals have a wide range of business and management backgrounds, significant levels of achievement in their fields and a shared vision of deploying their expertise for good.
Our Investment Philosophy
We enable growth and facilitate Investments in startups and scaleups for Impact. Our journey with you starts as a venture builder, with primary focus on investing human capital and leveraging our expertise through hands-on operating roles as part of the management team, at the board level, or as strategic advisers of the portfolio company. Further along the journey with you, in addition to our human capital investment, we provide financial capital to support your growth.
